Day 01: Delhi
Meeting, greeting & assistance on arrival at Delhi international airport and transfer to the hotel. Remaining time is at leisure till next morning.
Day 02: Delhi
Morning proceed for a sightseeing tour of Old Delhi visiting Rajghat (Gandhi Memorial), Jamma Masjid (Mosque) & Red Fort. Later enjoy a Rickshaw ride through the narrow lanes in Chandni Chowk market. Stay overnight at your hotel.
Day 03: Delhi
Morning proceed to visit New Delhi, driving along Rajpath to view the Parliament House, the President House and India Gate. Later visit the Humayun’s Tomb, Qutab Minar and Birla Temple. Stay overnight in Delhi.
Day 04: Delhi/ Khajuraho
Morning fly to Khajuraho. On arrival, check in at your hotel. Later visit Western Group of Temples. Evening enjoy Sound & Light Show which is highly recommendable. Stay overnight at your hotel.
Day 05: Khajuraho
Morning enjoy visit to the Jain temples. You have the option to enjoy an excursion to Panna National Park.
Day 06: Chandela Forts
Morning proceed for a daylong excursion to Chandela Forts at Kalinjar (130km) and Ajayagarah (80 km). Return back to Khajuraho by evening and stay overnight.
Day 07: Khajuraho - Orchha
Morning you will be driven to Orchha. On arrival visit Jahangir Mahal Palace & Raja Ram Temple. Evening you will be transferred to Jhansi railway station to take a train to Agra. Stay overnight in Agra.
Day 08: Agra
Morning proceed to see the beauty of the Taj Mahal in the rising sun. After breakfast visit Agra Fort which is a UNESCO world heritage monument. Stay overnight in Agra.
Day 09: Agra - Eatehpur Sikri - Jaipur (5 hours drive)
Drive to Jaipur, en route stopping at the abandoned city of Fatehpur Sikri, a masterpiece of Hindu and Muslim architecture. Later continue drive to reach Jaipur, the capital city of Rajasthan. On arrival, check in at your hotel. Remaining time is at leisure.
Day 10: Jaipur
Morning move out for an excursion to Amber Fort. Enjoy a memorable Elephant ride upto the fort. Afternoon enjoy a tour of the city visiting the Maharaja's City Palace, the Jantar Mantar Observatory and the Palace of Winds. Also, drive past the rose-pink residential and business areas of Jaipur.
Day 11: Jaipur - Udaipur
Morning transfer to Jaipur airport to board a flight to Udaipur. On arrival, you will be welcomed by our representative and transferred to your hotel to check in. Later proceed for sightseeing tour of Udaipur visiting City Palace, Jagdish Temple & Sahelion ki Baori. Stay overnight at your hotel.
Day 12: Udaipur
Morning proceed for a day excursion to Rankapur to visit famous Jain Temples. Enjoy sunset cruise at Lake Pichola. Stay overnight in Udaipur.
Day 13: Udaipur - Mumbai - Aurangabad
Morning transfer to Udaipur airport to board a connecting flight to Aurangabad. On arrival, you will be received by Amrapali representative and transferred to your hotel to check in. Remaining time is at leisure.
Day 14: Aurangabad
Enjoy day excursion to Ajanta Caves (Closed on Monday) - the first Buddhist cave monuments. The paintings and sculptures of Ajanta, considered masterpieces of Buddhist religious art, have had a considerable artistic influence.
Day 15: Aurangabad
Sightseeing tour of Ellora Caves (Closed on Tuesday) - cluster of monasteries devoted to Buddhism.Later proceed for the sightseeing tour of Aurangabad city visiting Bibi Ka Maqbara – also known as Mini Taj, a son’s tribute to his mother, the Queen of Mujghal Emperor Aurangazeb. Stay overnight in Aurangabad
Day 16: Aurangabad – Mumbai
Morning transfer to Aurangabad airport to board a flight to Mumbai. Arrive and check in at your hotel. Later proceed to visit Prince of Wales Museum (closed on Monday), Mani Bhawan (Gandhi Museum) and Dhobhi Ghat (world largest outdoor laundry). Stay overnight in Mumbai.
Day 17: Mumbai
Morning visit Elephanta Caves, a world heritage site. After lunch, join Bombay Heritage Walking Club (art & architecture students /professionals) and explore the old parts of Mumbai city. The Bombay Heritage Walking Club organizes a 2 hr. walk through the old part of Bombay and also interacts with the local people. Stay overnight in Mumbai.
Day 18: Depart Mumbai
Morning after breakfast, transfer to Mumbai airport to catch a flight back to your home destination. Tour ends.
